Don't settle for lower quality fertilizers!
At Blick’s, we understand the importance of long-chain polyphosphates for superior finished Ammonium Polyphosphate (APP) fertilizer. Our focus is on creating the best possible product for your company.
Here's why Blick’s is the better choice:
Higher Polyphosphate Concentration: We use a proprietary process and well-trained workforce to ensure a higher concentration of long-chain polyphosphates in our APP fertilizer. This translates to:
Improved Quality: Higher polyphosphate concentration means a better quality finished product for you.
Enhanced Storage: The fertilizer will have a longer shelf life and experience less degradation over time.
Reduced Maintenance Costs: Lower polyphosphate concentrations can lead to problems:
Solid Precipitation: When polyphosphate levels drop below 55%, solids can form and settle in your tanks.
Undesirable Sludge: This sludge creates a need for more frequent cleaning, increasing maintenance costs.
Product Shrinkage: Settling solids represent lost product.
By choosing Blick’s, you get a premium fertilizer that minimizes these issues, saving you time and money in the long run.

Services Provided
-
Five mobile polyphosphate conversion units
Customer supplied anhydrous ammonia and super-phosphoric acid (SPA) is converted in the Blick’s system, water is driven off and individual phosphate molecules link together to form a “polyphosphate” fluid fertilizer
-
Two mobile heating units
Super-phosphoric acid product railcars are subject to freezing and poor viscosity when shipped in the winter months. Blick’s mobile heating service can bring the product temperatures back to a level which is appropriate for pumping into production, saving railcar demurrage.
-
Blicks manages the sample chain of custody and outsources a certified, third party laboratory quality analysis with each production run. Digital results provided to the customer.

Please inquire
Ammonia is dissolved in water to produce aqua ammonia (19%), a popular liquid N fertilizer. Aqua does not need to be injected as deeply as anhydrous, provides benefits during field application, is frequently added to irrigation water and is used in flooded soil conditions.
APP for Non-agriculture use – Polyphosphate compounds are widely used as a flame retardant on many products, including wood, paper, fabric and plastic. It is also used as a commercial retardant for forest fires, by forming a charred layer after burning, thereby preventing further flames. Please inquire about these non-agriculture use opportunities.
MacroSource ships nearly 7 million short tons annually across the globe.
In addition to over 75 dry and liquid terminals across the USA, today Blick’s serves customers in 19 states and growing.
