Operations + Sales Team Meeting

You have been invited to attend this year’s Joint MacroSource Operation and Sales Team Meeting in Savannah, Georgia. 

The Meeting will be two days, Wednesday-Thursday, August 23-24.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO NOW:

1. FLIGHTS:  Before Friday, May 26, reserve your flights into the Savannah airport (SAV). 

Given the number of travelers, we have negotiated some discounts with the major carriers.  You must use Concur to book your round trip-flight.

DEPART your nearest airport on Tuesday, August 22 to Savannah (SAV).

RETURN to your airport on Friday, August 25. 

You can book your flight through Concur in three manners:

a.       Log into to Concur Travel website

b.       Call-in:   800-247-0060 option 6 (Groups) – reference MacroSource Summer Session

c.       Email:    groups_CLEW@dt.com

Rules:

i.  Fares must be coach class

ii.  It is OK for you to book your airline ticket with a return for Saturday or Sunday, August 26 or 27th to enjoy Savannah.  However, all additional hotel, meals, and tourism expenses must be personal and not charged to the corporate credit card.

iii.  If you choose to have your spouse travel with you, then the airline ticket and any additional expenses must be charged to your personal credit card.  To note, we are NOTplanning to have spouses attend the evening events on Wednesday-Thursday, August 23-24.  However, we will be providing information on local tours and daily activities should your spouse choose to attend. 

2. HOTEL:  Before Friday, May 26, confirm your hotel room with The Westin Savannah Harbor (Westin Savannah - Booking Link)

We have block of rooms reserved for the MacroSource group at pre-negotiated rates.  To reserve your room you must call the hotel directly at (912) 201-2000.  Please reference MACROSOURCE, as we have a block of rooms. 

CHECK-IN:  Tuesday, August 22

CHECK-OUT:  Friday, August 25

If you elect to stay in Savannah for the weekend, you must check-out of the MacroSource reservation on Friday, August 25th and make your own personal reservation for Friday onwards at the Westin or a hotel of your choosing.  

3. RSVP:  Once you have both your FLIGHT and HOTEL details, please RSVP before Wednesday, May 31st by clicking on the following link.  You will be asked to provide the following information:

1. Flight data (flight #s, arrival and departure times) 

2. Confirmation of those who elect to drive to Savannah

3. Golf shirt size

4. TRANSPORTATION:  Once we have collected all of the group’s flight data, we will analyze and let everyone know about local transportation to and from the hotel.  Currently, we are not recommending to make a rental car reservation at this time.
